Netflix has widened its range for viewers around the globe and has announced ten titles that will be premiering soon on Netflix India. They’ve included a vast array of cartoons, anime, movies, series and TV shows.
This confirms that Netflix has been raising the bar in order to become one of the best media service providers across the world.
If you are from India then here’s good news for you! Netflix has just announced ten titles that you can binge-watch and enjoy this quarantine.
Ludo
The film, Ludo was initially scheduled to be released on 24th April 2020. However, the pandemic has postponed its release to the end of 2020. The director, Anurag Basu collaborates with stars such as Abhishek Bachchan, Rajkummar Rao, Aditya Roy Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh to produce a blockbuster.
The plot revolves around inescapable jeopardies in life. It has four different stories set in a quintessential Indian metro.
Torbaaz
Directed by Girish Malik, Torbaaz will soon be on Netflix. Sanjay Dutt and Nargis Fakhri have signed up for Dutt’s third digital film release. The movie is an Afghanistan-set action thriller which introduces us to an army man and a father to a young child. Dutt’s character will try to rehabilitate the young fidayeen through cricket.
Honey Trehan has directed this mystery horror thriller. The cast includes Radhika Apte, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Shweta Tripathi, Ila Arun, Tigmanshu Dhulia and Shivani Raghuvanshi.
Mumbai Mirror says” Siddiqui plays an investigative officer working on a high profile case, and accidentally meets the characters of Apte and Tripathi.”
The cast for the film includes of Konkona Sensharma, Bhumi Pednekar, Kubbra Sait, Vikrant Massey and Amol Parashar. The movie premiered at Busan International Film Festival in 2019.
The plot revolves around two women trying to cope up with their lifestyle in New Delhi. The film is directed by Alankrita Shrivastava and produced by Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Motion Pictures.
Ginny Weds Sunny
After a long time, fans will be seeing Vikrant Massey and Yami Gautam share the screen. Yes, Yami Gautam and Vikrant Massey are the protagonists of Ginny Weds Sunny.
The film revolves around Ginny (Gautam) and Sunny (Massey) who greet each other for an arranged marriage. However, she does not want to marry him. Later, Sunny partners up with Ginny’s mom to win her back.
Bombay Rose
Bombay Rose is one of the most anticipated films on Netflix India, even more so since it features the debut of Gitanjali Rao.
The movie is written and directed by Rao, and it narrates the lives of people that journey away from small towns, searching for a humble life in a luxurious city.
The movie tells the story of a flower seller who has to pick one of the two options—to fall in love or protect her family.
Mismatched
This drama to be released on Netflix India is based on Sandhya Menon’s book ‘When Dimple met Rishi.’ Prajakta had recently debuted with a short film named Khayali Pulao. Rohit Saraf has already worked in movies before, and his acting credits include hits like Dear Zindagi and Hichki. He was also seen last year in Shonali Bose’s The Sky is Pink.
This highly anticipated film is going to be released on 11th July. However, the film will hit Netflix India a year later. The cast of A Suitable Boy includes Ishaan Khatter, Tabu, Namit Das, Rasika Duggal, Randeep Hooda, Vijay Varma and Tanya Maniktala.
The film is scheduled to release on 12th August 2020. The cast members include Janhvi Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Angad Bedi and Vineet Kumar. The plot is still under wraps, and we will let you know as soon as something comes up.
Masaba Masabe
This cast of this upcoming series includes Masaba Gupta and Neena Gupta, who go by their names. It also features the Bombay Begums, featuring Shahana Goswami and Amruta Subhash; and Bhaag Beanie Bhaag, starring Swara Bhaskar and Ravi Patel.
