The live-action adaptation of the manga series,’ Imawa no Kuni No Arisu,’ known as ‘Alice in Borderland’, will soon be on Netflix. The manga, written by Haro Aso, has been dwelling in hardcore anime fans’ hearts for a while now. This is proof that Netflix has been continuously trying to improve its standards and widen the range for its viewers.

Alice in Borderland: When Will Season One Release?
The filming for the first season began in January 2020. However, the virus has delayed production worldwide, and unfortunately, this series is no exception. We expect the series to be released sometime around 2022. The producers and directed haven’t commented on the progress of the series, so it looks like we’ve got to wait it out.
Alice in Borderland Season 1: Who will be in the cast?
Everything has been kept pretty much under wraps so far. However, The Anime News Network has announced two cast members. They are Kento Yamazaki and Tao Tsuchiya. Kento Yamazaki will play her role as Alice, and Tao will play the role of Yuzuha Usagi, the two protagonists of the series. This collaboration is the most awaited by fans since the film “Orange,” where the two stars also play the protagonists.
Everyone is all geared up to see Kento and Tao together on-screen again. Shinsuke Sato will direct the series, which means that the bar has been raised considerably as he has also directed another live-action adaption for Netflix, based on the anime Bleach.

Alice In Borderland Season 1: What will be the storyline?
The series introduces us to a group of high school friends. Ryohei Arisu (Alice) stays partners with his boring and unlikeable friends, Karube and Chota. They continue their meaningless lives until they run into a strange dimension of Tokyo, where their only way of survival is to win death games.
The plot is pretty exciting, and Fans expect that the series may reveal their discovery of dimensions. The characters, Alice, Karube, and Chota, strengthen their bonds of friendship in their long adventure to both survive and get home. To do so, they have to team up and figure out strategies to win it all.
