We have heard of Disney’s Alice in Wonderland but, little do we know about the Streaming giant- Netflix’s manga series- Alice in Borderland. The manga series initially kickstarted with just three episodes and recently, Netflix picked it up and created it into a potential live-action series that is set in a whole new era of a Post-apocalyptic world.
It was originally developed in 2010 by Haro Aso and the “Suspense Shonen manga” was also published in Shonen Sunday Super for seven years straight, from 2010 -2016. It produced two titles— Alice in Borderroad and Chi no Kyokuchi-Daiya no King-hen.

Release Date of Alice in Borderland Season 1
The shooting of Alice in Borderland Season 1 is supposed to begin sometime this year, but thanks to the blasted pandemic, everything has come to standstill.
So, we do not know when the show will go into production and get the release date any time soon. We would like to believe that the show will be dropping on the streaming Goliath by mid-2021 or latest by 2022.
Alice in Borderland Season 1: Plot
This Manga show revolves around Ryōhei Arisu, which translates to ‘Alice’ in English, and he is a typical annoying high schoolboy. One day, he tags along with his two friends Karube and Chōta to the town.
They encounter a big flash like fireworks in the sky and get pulled into a new dimension. They are forced to partake in several survival games, else they die. The three boys are on a mission to survive and make it out alive in one piece back to their country.
Looks like Alice in Borderland is going to be epic!

Since the show has is just announced, we know for sure that Kento Yamazaki will play Ryohei Arisu and Tao Tsuchiya will play Yuzuha Usagi.
