Crazy Rich Asians were directed by Jon M. Chu and produced by Nina Jacobson, Brad Simpson, and John Penotti. The movie is based on the novel written by Kevin Kwan. The cinematography has been done by Vanja Cernjul and edited by Myron Kerstein.
The production rights were owned by SK Global Entertainment, Starlight Culture Entertainment, Color Force, Ivanhoe Pictures, and Electric Somewhere and distribution rights owned by Warner Bros Pictures. Crazy Rich Asians was a big hit and earned more than 200 million in the box office.
Story Of Crazy Rich Asians:
Crazy Rich Asians is a family drama involving the romance of Nick Young and Rachel Chu. Rachel is shown as a professor at NYU. She decides to travel with her boyfriend Nick, to their homeland Singapore to attend Nick’s friend’s wedding.
After that, when Rachel visits one of her old friends Peik Lin, Rachel gets to know that she is dating one of the wealthiest families in Singapore with a high-class tradition. The news came as a shock to Rachel and made her more nervous about meeting Nick’s parents.
At the Young residence, when Nick introduces his girlfriend to his mother Eleanor, she doesn’t like her and starts inquiring about her family. Later Rachel meets Amanda Nick’s ex-girlfriend, who tells her she will never be welcomed here because of her standard.
Nick joins his mates and heads out for the Bachelor party. Rachel finds her room smashed and written gold-digger; she feels terrible. When Nick returns, he apologizes to Rachel for not telling who he was and all the troubles she went through. Nick decides to propose to her later.
Eleanor finds deep secrets about Rachel, and she also tells her everything after the confrontation. Nick proposes to Rachel, but she denies and books her tickets to fly back to NY.
Rachel’s mother visits the Young Family and explains everything to which Eleanor also agrees, and then Nick sets out to stop Rachel and win her again. He finds her at the airport and proposes to her to which she accepts. Both of them get engaged, but the after family drama waits in the sequel.

The sequel of Crazy Rich Asians will inevitably happen as there is a second novel. The cast for the sequel will also be the same with our leads Constance Wu and Henry Golding returning; only a few additions could be made. Till now, no official release date is decided, but we can expect it to release in 2021. As the filming process is also not started, we cannot expect any trailer as well.
