The magical world of ‘Cursed’ may come back to life. This medieval fantasy series made its way to Netflix’s top ten list just days after it premiered. The fandom is wonderstruck and keenly waits for the second season of this Arthurian era. So buckle up!
The first season of Cursed made its debut in July 2020. This Arthurian drama series is an adaptation of Frank Miller and Tom Wheeler’s novel that goes by the same name. The cast of this series includes several familiar faces. We’ll see Katherine Langford showing off her sword skills with Devon Terrell and Daniel Sharman, Sebastian Armesto turns into a villain, and Gustaf Skarsgård becomes a humble sorcerer.
CURSED Season 2: The Release Date
Unfortunately, the second season is yet to be renewed. The first season was released on 17th July 2020 on Netflix. The creators are yet to confirm the commencing for the next season, and that will take a couple of months. However, if it were to be released we can expect the upcoming season in 2022 but, we do not know for sure, the pandemic has delayed productions worldwide.

The majority of first season’s cast will be back for another round. We can Katherine to return as Nimue, Devon as Arther, Daniel as Lancelot, Sebastian as a cruel king and Gustav as Merlin. We may also come across Lily Newmark’s Pym and Billy Jenkins’ Squirrel. Some sources say that there is a high possibility that the fallen Green Knight, played by Matt Stokoe, might be resurrected. It is a magical world, after all.
CURSED Season 2: What Will Be The Plot?
The ten episodes of season one have glued our eyes to the screen. In the final episode, there were a bunch of unanswered questions. It is possible that the next season might pick up after the events of the first one. The battle resulted in Nimue’s life on the brink of death.
However, the next season might reveal more on Nimue’s journey of becoming the powerful Lady of the Lake. The scene where Nimue is plunged straight into the waterfall is where the season 1 ends and is an exact replica of the details in the book.
In the book, Nimue is gets kidnapped by lepers who obey their Leper King Rugen. It is mentioned that they drag Nimue’s body into their dark tunnels, and that’s where Cursed the novel ends. Strange, isn’t it? It ends exactly like the series—on cliff-hangers.

The second season for Cursed has not been confirmed yet. So it’s a long wait till we see the trailer. The trailer of Cursed season 1 anticipated several viewers. It gave us a glimpse into the magical world that awe-struck all. The fandom is ready to dive into the world again.
