Noel Fisher, who goes by the name ‘Detail’ in the music industry, has been arrested for a series of sexual assault allegations, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. Unfortunately, a lot of cases are coming up against the ‘big names’ in various industries after the emergence of the #metoo movement.
We are proud of all those women who have pointed their finger in the right direction and possibly saved many young lives. To those who take a stand against sexism and misogyny and have the courage to come out so that the right person is behind bars, we want to say, “You are brave. You are beautiful. You are not alone. Don’t let anyone dictate otherwise.
It wasn’t your fault and this is not how things work regardless of what your abusers tell you. Never quit.”
The producer was charged on 31st July and arrested on 5th August 2020 (Wednesday) by the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department. He is being investigated for incidents that occurred around 2018 and it has been reported that some of the crimes date back as early as 2010.
He produced Beyonce’s hit single “Drunk In Love,” which was awarded Grammy for Best R&B Song and Best R&B Performance in 2015. The Grammy-winning music producer has been arrested on 15 sexual assault charges and five additional felony assault-related charges, authorities said on Wednesday.
The Sheriff’s Department asked for the public’s help to identify any possible additional victims; anyone with information should call the Special Victims Bureau tip line at (877) 710-5273.
Detectives submitted the case to the L.A. County district attorney’s office in January. They were notified in late July of the charges filed against Fisher and an arrest warrant was issued with a bail of over $6million.
Last year, a model and singer won a $15 million verdict against Detail in LA superior court over similar allegations. She is one of six women, some established professionals and others music-industry newcomers, who have spoken out publicly against Fisher’s sexual misconduct and violence. At least two, both former assistants, have also filed their own lawsuits.
According to TMZ, the producer who has worked with the likes of Drake, Wiz Khalifa, Beyonce and Jay-Z had allegedly physically and sexually abused 2 up-and-coming female artists back in 2018. Kristina Buch and Peyton Ackley accused Fisher of rape and abuse and were successful in filing a restraining order against the music producer.
Kristina Buch claimed that Detail had raped her back in February after a recording session in Miami. She claims he got violent and forcibly grabbed her by the hair, hit and choked her. She also alleged that she was left with bruises on her arms, head, back and legs.
Peyton Ackley accused Detail of essentially making her and Kristina his sex slaves. Peyton says she considered Detail a mentor in the industry, but he’d told her the biz was all about sex. Both women requested restraining orders, which a judge granted. Detail had to stay 100 yards from both of them, as well as Kristina’s sister.
“I am quite certain he will enter a not guilty plea and contest to the fullest all of these allegations,” Fisher’s attorney, Irwin Mark Bledstein, said in an email late Wednesday night adding that he had not yet reviewed the details of the charges. But adding in the restraining order and lawsuits, things are not looking up for the producer.
