The world has emerged, and in this era, sexuality has paved its way to the front. People have come out of their closets and now breathe in a recognized world. Even celebrities have come upfront and expressed their gratitude for the LGBTQ+ community.
One such celebrity is Kristen Stewart. She came out in public over three years ago and has continuously been working to enhance the community in one way or the other. Here she is, all geared up to star in another lesbian romantic-comedy film titled, Happiest Season.
Happiest Season is said to revolve around complications that the LGBTQ+ community face, certainly those who haven’t come out yet. Man, I can’t wait to watch this film. Pretty sure it will leave us wonderstruck.
Happiest Season: The Release Date
The wait is over guys. The film releases on 25th November 2020. Kudos to Sony Pictures and the director Clea DuVall, for creating this anticipating film that will probably be a blockbuster.
Happiest Season: The Plot

Happiest Season introduces us to a young woman named Amber, who makes up her mind to propose her girlfriend, Harper. All goes well until she finds out that her girlfriend still resides in the closet…..she hasn’t revealed her sexuality to her strict parents.
Thus, her plan goes down the spiral as they are at her family’s annual holiday party. Going on a holiday with your girlfriend and her family is romantic enough, proposing her sounds sweet but discovering that her parents have no clue that they’re lovebirds? Yikes! That sounds like trouble.
Primarily it looks like the film is all about family, love and acceptance. It’s a bane that the film releases a day before Thanksgiving….now you’ll have something good to watch with your family.
Happiest Season: The Cast

Clea DuVall pulled together a group of hot-rising stars such as to cast for the upcoming film. We will see Kristen Stewart, who blew our minds out in Twilight come back for another eye-catching performance. She will play the role of Amber. Mackenzie Davis from Terminator: Dark Fate will deliver her performance as Harper. We will also come across Mary Steenburgen who will play as Tipper. Not to forget that Victor Garber and Alison Brie will appear as Ted and Sloane.
The sub cast members include Dan Levy as John, Aubrey Plaza as Riley, Burl Moseley as Eric, Sarayu Blue as Carolyn, and Jake McDorman as Liam among others.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight Canada, Clea DuVall said that her goal was to make “this movie that you’d want to watch again and again every year.” No worries Davis, with your remarkable directed films, this one will go through the roof.
Happiest Season: The Trailer

Unfortunately, no official trailer has been released yet. However, since Pride month just got over, Happiest Season’s official twitter page posted an image where the casts hold rainbow flags and held posters. Some actors even had tattooed themselves to shower support for the LGBTQ+ community.
