What we don’t like about the Microsoft Surface Book 3:
Although it is faster than its previous versions, it falls short in the overall comparison to Lenovo Yoga C940, which is relatively cheaper than the Microsoft Surface Book 3. Other functional apps such as Adobe Bridge, Lightroom Classic may work a snail’s pace. The processor performance is slow for the given price. There is no thunderbolt 3 connection either.
What we like about the Microsoft Surface Book 3:
You could use this device as a laptop and a powerful tablet. It is one of those rare laptops that offer an ornamentally arranged 1080p webcam and microphone that function decently.
To Buy or Not To Buy?
Microsoft Surface Book 3 is not just specs bumped version of its predecessor because it is set to meet the expectations of the 2020 gizmo-fanatics. It will do so since the battery life is impeccable as compared to the other Surface devices available, so gaming experience should be decent on the laptop. The unique convertible design and its flexibility is a highlight, and it offers a 1080p gaming performance too. If you don’t mind the downside of this device, you have nothing to worry about.
