But while things are seemed to be dormant on the release due to the pandemic situations all over the world, Warner Bros. and game developer Mojang has been quietly continuing the groundwork for what has now been scheduled for 2022.

So, finally, Mojang announced recently that the Minecraft movie adaptation, based on the worldwide popular video game, has been set to showcase itself in the theaters on March 4, 2022. Peter Sollett now is the director, having replaced It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia star Rob McElhenney.

Steve Carell was once in good terms with the production discussions and was considered as the hero in Minecraft, though it’s unclear if he’s still there as the front runner for the role. Representatives for the actor and Warner Bros. did not immediately respond to EW’s requests for comment.
Minecraft Plot
The modern generation already has a distinctive idea about the game, Minecraft which deals with some adventurous missions. The movie Minecraft, similarly, will bring to life as it is “the story of a teenage girl and her unlikely group of adventurers,” as told by Mojang. “After the malevolent Ender Dragon sets out on a path of destruction, they must save their beautiful, blocky Overworld.”

There’s is still no crystal clear information about the cast for the worldwide famous game-inspired movie, Minecraft. Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, there’s is also no trailer out for the movie. It seems like we do have to wait for a while for the confirmation of cast and the release of a uniquely adventurous trailer for Minecraft.
