When Alicia Sierra appeared for the first time in the third season of the most popular heist show, Money Heist, the fans were awestruck with the appearance of her and now, it has been quite a wait for Money Heist Season 5. The character of Alicia is of a tough, cold-hearted inspector who will do whatever she feels like for the completion of a job and to get the outcome of what she actually wants.
There are several theories revolving around regarding she being the sister of Professor after she was last seen holding a gun at the Professor in season 4’s finale. Could she really be Professor’s sister? Only Season 5 can give us some answers to this question.
I know we all are enraged at the ruthless inspector as she was revealed to have used extreme measures of torturing Rio (Miguel Herran) by burying him alive and making him starve as she in charge of the investigation and interrogated him about The Professor (Alvaro Morte) in Money Heist. In season three, we first see Alicia (Najwa Nimri) marched onto Nairobi’s (Alba Flores) son Axel in front of the famous Bank of Spain which lead to the robber being shot in the chest.
Her cold-heartedness and sheer evil determination to tear apart and destroy the gang has now led fans of La Casa De Papel to consider that she might be somehow related to The Professor and Berlin (Pedro Alonso).
There are several Money Heist fans who thought Alicia was Berlin’s wife Tatiana (Díana Gómez), but it was clarified in the start of season four. But, it is also believed that she is still linked to Berlin and The Professor.
Biologically, not romantically. While it was shaping out that Alicia actually had the upper hand at the start of season four, she was quickly taken down a bit when The Professor surprisingly exposed her gross behaviour and how mercilessly she tortured Rio during the investigation.
Consequently, Alicia lost her job and was filled with rage, looking for revenge, and thus finally getting hold of The Professor’s bunker and holding a gun to his head ready to end the heist.
With Money Heist Season 5 still to come into the spotlight, it is absolutely clear by now that Alicia is not Tatiana as The Professor would have recognised her and also she worked with Raquel. But, Alicia, The Professor and Berlin can turn out to be siblings, theorised by someone on Reddit. It has been observed by many that the three of them are extremely intelligent, they can predict people’s next moves, are real, responsible bosses and they immensely love music.
Though it is all about the observations and nothing has been mentioned in Money Heist, but all these fo make sense if we think thoroughly with this perspective.
As we all have seen how The Professor always seems to know the police’s next move and predict it correctly. But, there are also several instances when Alicia has guessed his plans and he’s been utterly shocked by her sheer intelligence.
Now, For The Main Question We Have About Money Heist Season 5
Could they really be siblings or is that too far fetched for Money Heist? And it has always been quite a point of discussion.
Well, lots of fans certainly think it’s a possibility with one replying: “The theory of Alice and The Professor being siblings, is very thoroughly thought out, but the soap-opera-ness would be cringey, I think. It just feels like we have been concentrating in excess about this even when there is no clear indication of such throughout the series.
It might or might not turn out to be true. Alicia, being an intelligent Inspector have cancelled out The Professor’s several plans which is quite commendable. But, it is absolutely not clear whether they are actually related or not.”
Unfortunately, due to the recent coronavirus pandemic, it seems that the ever eager fans of Money Heist will have to wait a little longer for the next Season as the production has been temporarily put on hold.
However, last week, a video was released by Netflix Spain, confirming that the cast of Money Heist would be heading back onto set very soon for the production of Season 5.
