Who is Bebe Vio?
Beatrice Maria Adelaide Marzia Vio is professionally known as Bebe Vio. She is an inspirational and extraordinarily proficient wheelchair fencer from Italy who has risen up the charts quickly with her immense talent. She is the 2014 and 2016 European champion, 2015 and 2017 World champion, and 2016 Paralympic champion within the foil B class.
It was reported that Bebe had contracted meningitis when she was eleven years old, causing her to shed bother her arms and legs, leaving lasting face and physique scars. She went through three months of rehab and now makes use of a prosthesis to carry her ardour fencing to fruition.
