The astonishing part of this awaited film is that Nolan dedicated nearly five years for the screenplay and a decade to decide the major plotline ‘Tenet’ will play. His films are always based on unique plots that make you wonder. The trailers for this upcoming film showcases Nolan’s cinematic efforts.
The first one was released a while back while the second one broke the internet a month ago.
Tenet: When will we watch the movie?
Here’s something good you can enjoy in this boring quarantine. The pandemic has already delayed the film twice. Originally it was scheduled for July 17th release. Later, Warner Bros pushed it to July 31st due to the on-going pandemic. However, the good news is that the film has been scheduled for its official release on 12 August 2020 on IMAX.
Tenet: Who will be in the movie?
The filmmaker is going to collaborate with several hot rising stars for his upcoming movie. This also includes those who he’ll be working with for the first time. Twilight’s hero, Robert Pattinson will be joining the cast as the protagonist along with John David Washington, son of Denzel Washington. We will also see stars as Aaron Taylor Johnson, Clémence Poesy, Elizabeth Debicki, Himesh Patel, and our very own Dimple Kapadia.
In addition to that, the movie will also show us familiar faces from the filmmaker’s previous works. The upcoming movie ‘Tenet’ will feature Michael Caine (From commercial hits Interstellar and The Dark Knight) and Kenneth Branagh (From Oscar-winning Dunkirk).
Tenet: What will be the storyline?
The plot revolves around an agent who’s on a mission to halt World War II. He must make use of tools and capabilities, which also include time intercession, manipulation, and other possibilities. He has to save humanity before time runs out.
Robert Pattinson mentioned in a May interview with GQ Magazine that he does not play the role of a ‘time traveller’. “There’s actually no time travelling,” he revealed. “That’s, like, the one thing I’m approved to say.”
The other details about the film are still under wraps. The film has introduced a concept that is far different from ‘time travelling’ and is known as ‘time intervention’ The name of the film, ‘Tenet’ is already a palindrome, which means that it is spelt the same backward and forwards.
There are chances that the plot will play in both the present and the past. In some instances, it might even repeat the past and replay it. We do not know what might actually happen. Nolan has left his fans quite curious to think about. He sure knows how to keep the audience engaged even before the release of the film. It’s only a matter of time till ‘Tenet’ hits theatres.
