The Many Saints Of Newark: Plot
The Many Saints of Newark is set to take place 40 years before the events of The Sopranos. While the writing team has not talked about the movie’s plot details, the film is expected to explore the hay days of mafia glory that Tony Soprano always felt he missed out.
Set in the 60s and 70s, the movie will surely show the good old days that Tony was always talking about, but there’s a fear that reality would not live up to his imaginations. The movie will be using the 1967 Newark riots as a backdrop for tensions between the Italian-American and African communities.
