The One And Only Ivan, a movie produced and marketed by Disney, promises to be yet another heartwarmer.
Throughout the years, Disney has come up with the best children’s movies, when we say children, we mean children of all ages, including the supposed teens and adults. This is mainly because Disney focusses on the stories that need to be heard, and also the stories that we have grown up with over the years.
The One And Only Ivan has been in production for a lot of time, but amidst the pandemic, Disney and director Thea Sharrock decided to launch it on the OTT platform, Disney Plus.
The One And Only Ivan: The Plot
The One And Only Ivan is adapted from a children novel of the same name by K. A. Applegate. The Story tells us of a gorilla named Ivan who is captured in a cage at the Exit eight Big Mall and Video Arcade. His companions are an elephant named Still and a dog called is Bob.
The strange thing is all that none of them remembers how they got there. Recently their owner Mack brought in a baby elephant, Ruby and put her along with the others. Ruby ends up being taken care of by everyone there, with a little help from a girl named Julia. However, they soon start to realise they’ve been abducted, and plan to run away from the mall.
The One And Only Ivan: The Cast
The Cast list of The One And Only Ivan includes Bryan Cranston as Mack, Ramón Rodríguez as George, Ariana Greenblatt as Julia, Indira Varma and Eleanor Matsuura as Can face McAfee.
Along with this, the voices artists include Sam Rockwell as Ivan (gorilla), Angelina Jolie as Stella (elephant), Danny DeVito as Bob (stray dog), Helen Mirren as Snickers, Brooklynn Prince as Ruby (baby elephant), Chaka Khan as Henrietta (chicken), Ron Funches as Murphy (rabbit), Phillipa Soo as Thelma (parrot), and Mike White as Frankie (seal).
The One And Only Ivan: Release Date?
Due to the pandemic, Disney has decided to release it on the official platform Disney+ on 21st August 2020.
The One And Only Evan: The Trailer?
Disney launched the trailer for The One And Only Ivan on 8th July 2020. Along with the trailer, Disney also launched a special look video to increase excitement.
