Details About Uncharted Movie:
The Uncharted movie is being produced by Columbia Pictures, Arad Productions, Atlas Entertainment and PlayStation Productions, with distribution rights owned by Sony Pictures.
The filming for took place in areas like Berlin, Spain and Babelsberg Studio. Due to the ongoing global pandemic, the filming stopped but is scheduled to start soon with all safety measures taken.
When Uncharted Movie gets released, it will become the first-ever element of Sony PlayStation Productions. There were plans for this movie since 2010, but due to various reasons, Uncharted Movie never reached its conclusions. Many famous writers were also approached to write the story; different casts were being approached for the movie and also many directors. But in the end, after a long run, Uncharted Movie got finalised.
Release Date For Uncharted Movie:
The movie was initially scheduled to release on 10th June 2016. Due to some problems, it got delayed to 30th June 2017. Again the film got postponed to 18th December 2020 after which it got shifted to 8th October 2021.
As for now after a lot of speculation, the movie is given a new release date again to 16th July 2021 to avoid its clash with Ghostbusters: Afterlife.
Cast For Uncharted Movie:
Directed by Ruben Fleischer, Uncharted is an upcoming adventure/action movie based on the video game series of the same name. It is being written by Art Marcum and Matt Holloway.
The cast is the same as games where Tom Holland will be playing the role of Nathan Drake as a young hunter. Fans will also see Mark Wahlberg who will play Victor Sullivan as Drake’s mentor.
In supporting roles, fans will see Antonio Banderas, Sophia Taylor Ali and Tati Gabrielle. We could also see more added to the cast later.
Plot For Uncharted Movie:
The movie is based on a prequel about the game series where fans will see the Journey of Nathan Drake and how he meets Sully and becomes friends.
