Coming to your screens this year is the second season of the Belgian-Dutch crime-drama show ‘Undercover’. This show made its official debut last year in February, and after a year-long wait, we finally have news about Undercover Season 2.
Just about 16 hours ago, Netflix officially dropped the first trailer of the second season and let us tell you that it is very intense.
It can be said that Netflix is a perfect melting pot for global entertainment as it gives space to shows other than English ones to premiere before its audience. Most of the time, these foreign language shows go on to become critically acclaimed.
Previously we have seen shows like Netflix’s Dark, Money Heist, How To Sell Drugs Online (Fast), and many other foreign shows earn a lot of fame and popularity in the online realm.
We at The Hollywood Tribune have compiled all the necessary details that you need to know about the show ahead of its release.
Release Date Of Undercover Season 2:
Undercover Season 2 will be introduced slightly earlier in the Netherlands as compared to the rest of the world. The series will first come out on September 6 exclusively for the Netherlands while the rest of the world will be able to watch the show only on November 8 this year.
Trailer Of Undercover Season 2:
After watching the trailer, it feels like the show is going to take a darker direction and would be more violent. The name itself is Undercover and looks like the characters involved will be dealing with some hard-core underground drug lord business, in an attempt to unravel the truth.

Plot Of Undercover Season 2:
The official synopsis of the show in a Press Release of Netflix read— “Less than a year after the events of season one, Kim (Anna Drijver) works at Human Rights. With the help of her ex-colleague Bob (Tom Waes), her research into an illegal arms trade in Syria leads her to El Dorado Ranch, a country and western ranch in the Belgium flatlands. Bob goes undercover and tries to get in the good graces of the arms-dealing Berger brothers.
From behind bars, Ferry (Frank Lammers) continues his search for the true identity of the undercover agents that arrested him. Polly is trying to figure out who her father really is.”
Cast Of Undercover Season 2:
We feel that the second season is even more exciting as it is refreshed with new characters and storylines. Talking about the show, Frank Lammers said, “Ferry is back, so watch out!”
Anna Drijver returns as Kim De Rooij, Tom Waes as Bob Lemmens, Frank Lammers plays Ferry Bouman, Ivaylo Zahariev will be playing Martin Hristov, and Zahary Baharov as Ivo Andonov.
