When will ‘Wonder Woman 1984’ be released?


It was initially set to hit the theatres on December 13, 2019. However, there has been a number of shifts and push backs in the release date due to the ongoing Coronavirus crisis.
Initially, after being delayed to June 2020 and then to August, the current release date is set for October 2. The movie was supposed to be released 35 years after its title date, but will now debut 36 years later.
Who is in the cast of Wonder Woman 1984?
Through the official trailer, it can be said that Chris Pine will be returning, which has now been confirmed by Warner Bros. Kirsten Wiig was confirmed to be playing the villain Cheetah in the Wonder Woman 1984.
Meanwhile, Pedro Pascal has been cast to portray Maxwell Lord, an influential character in the Justice League’s formation and history.
Speaking of characters rising back from the dead, Robin Wright confirmed that she would be returning in Wonder Woman 1984 as Antiope alongside Connie Nielsen’s Hippolyta, but only in a flashback sequence.

The official trailer debuted some Orwellian themes, already teased by the images released ahead of the trailer.
The storyline fast forwards to the 1980s as Wonder Woman’s next big-screen adventure being to face two all-new foes: Max Lord and The Cheetah.
Other than that, we don’t know all too much about the sequel, other than apparently it isn’t really a sequel.
Charles Roven, the producer of Wonder Woman 1984, made comments on the upcoming movie being the “next iteration” of Wonder Woman, with a “completely different story” compared to the original one.
