AMC’s critically acclaimed show Better Call Saul’s final season is slated to be released sometime in 2021 as productions are still ongoing. Since there is so much going on in the storylines right now, fans cannot stop speculating the number of ways it could end.
We have got you covered on that front as THT brings to you just the information that you need to know about the way Better Call Saul Final Season Could End.
The AMC network recently confirmed that Jimmy McGill’s journey to the dark side has an endpoint and thus, season 6 will be all about that. The final season is said to have about 13 episodes, and that is three more than the usual 10. So, this could mean that the show is set to tie up all loose ends and give it a concrete ending to make fans happy once and for all.
Better Call Saul is the prequel of Breaking Bad, and it features Jimmy McGill, three years before he becomes Walter White’s shady lawyer, Saul.
Just a few hours ago, Better Call Saul’s executive producer Peter Gould teased the biggest questions ever. In an interview with EW, about what to expect from the finale, Peter asked fans to think on the lines of what they think of Jimmy’s future persona Gene Takovic deserves.
“Anybody who watches the show carefully and is thinking about where this is all going, one of the questions you have to ask yourself is: ‘What does this man deserve?'” he added. Gould also pushed the fans to think about what will be the future of this particular character and what is the possible ending that he truly deserves.
So, does Gene Takovic/ Jimmy McGill, Saul Goodman deserve death? Or is he deserving of love? What should be the perfect ending for his character arc? Will he redeem himself?
Although death is inevitable, perhaps it has nothing to do with this character, even after all that he has said and done.
The showrunner also invited fans to speculate what happens to Kim at the end of the show. She’s not seen in Breaking Bad, so does this mean she will be pushing up daisies?
Apart from this, the producer also dropped a cryptic statement asking fans to watch out for something very important in the final season. Remember when had Kim left her office for the final time and she headed back to grab a bottle stopper that was in her desk drawer?
Well, Gould Asked The Fans To Keep Their Eyes On The Bottle Stopper!!!
Here are the top 3 ways Better Call Saul could come to an end:
1. Peek Into The Future
We have seen the future many times and it was mostly because it was an open plot thread that is still under work. Probably, that’s how Saul will protect his new identity. We may finally figure out the kind of person Saul is. Maybe, to protect himself, he will kill the pair that recognized him.
2. Everything Back To Normal
It is likely that the show will end in the place it began with the ‘status quo’ falling back to normalcy, as Gus and Salamancas’s gang war will subside and Saul will go back to practising the regular law. This could possibly explain why Nacho and Kim are MIA.
3. The Unsurprising Ending
Just maybe, if they are planning on ending the show, it could be where it all began— a drug raid that Walt and Hank end up watching. It is quite the traditional way to tie up the threads.
Well, we hope that #3 does not happen because if it did, that would just be too predictable. Also, it might not do too well with the fans and serve the sad fate of Game of Thrones Season 8.
